An Evening At Meridian Leisure Park*

I was recently invited to Meridian Leisure park for an evening full of fun and food.

If your didn't already know meridian Leisure park is located just out of the city centre in Braunstone. It has plenty of places to eat, a bowling alley, cinema, a gym and even a children's play area within it.

It's the perfect place for a catch up with friends or family or even a date night. The parking is free and you don't have to venture all the way into town!

Hollywood Bowl

We started our evening off at Hollywood bowl, with a VIP game of bowling. Something I quite frankly had no idea they offered! The VIP area was super comfy, a little more private than the other lanes and had a few special touches to it too.

You can get service right where you are with a touch of a button as each lane has someone looking after it. That means food and drink right to your lane - in our case some mocktails and nachos! A great sharing snack to pick at for while your bowling.

For those looking for something a little more relaxed, Hollywood bowl also has a bar and and diner area next to the arcade. They also have some great deals on if your looking for something fun to do over the festive period.

Next we went over to harvester for our starters and a drink. I have to say that harvester has a lovely feel to it. The decor is the right amount of modern and rustic. There's such a range on the menu but I didn't have a hard choice with what starter I wanted. I went for the buttermilk fried chicken tenders. Which were cooked to perfection, tasted delicious and came with a lovely BBQ dip! I would definitely recommend trying them if your thinking of visiting harvester soon!

Frankie And Benny's

For mains we headed on over to Frankie and Bennys. The Italian-American restaurant has a lovely friendly diner vibe to it. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. I couldn't resist going for the pepperoni pizza - let's be honest you can't go wrong with pizza can you!? I have to say the thin crust pizza was so tasty and had plenty of topping on it.

And If Harvester or Frankie and Benny's aren't quite what you fancy there's plenty more restaurants at the Leisure park too.

*I was invited to Meridian Leisure park and all food and activities were gifted. However all opinions and words are my own.
